centre of this historical town. Kinsale

to explore Kinsale is by foot, parking
can be difficult as it is a town of
small winding streets which are not
designed for today's traffic. Fota
Wildlife park a lovely day out from here
within an hours drive via the river
crossing. Clonakilty model railway
village a half an hours drive. Include
the Railway village on a drive around
the beautiful west cork area, including
Bantry, Glengarrif, Schull and all the
little villages and towns. Killarney is
only less than a two hour drive from
Kinsale, If you would like to include
the Ring of Kerry we can organize a bus
from Killarney town to take you around
the ring so that the driver can relax
and also see the sites of this white
knuckle ride. There are examples of
medieval, 16th and 17th century
architecture in the form of Saint
Maltrose Church, Desmond Castle and
James and Charles Forts. |

Abbey View one of the houses is a
delightful two bedroom house, tastefully
furnished, overlooking the town of
Kinsale. The house is situated in a
development of pretty houses and
apartments on an elevated and landscaped
site overlooking the town of Kinsale. It
is within 5 minutes walking distance of
this picturesque town and just 20
minutes drive to Cork City, and 10
minutes from Cork Airport. Kinsale is a
small fishing village which offers the
holiday maker just about everything;
traditional pubs, sailing, deep sea
angling, walks, bird watching. Gourmet
restaurants, pony trekking, golf,
castles, forts and many buildings of
historic interest. There is a small
beach nearby. Golf clubs in the area all
of them within a twenty mile distance,
Lee Valley will supply a minibus to the
course if required for four people. We
can arrange tee times with the two local
clubs, one 9 Hole and one 18 Hole, also
with the Old Head. We cater for all the
groups attending the many sailing events
in the area, Cork week , Sovereigns Cup,
Optimist Championships and many , many
more.

elevated site with views of Oysterhaven

open plan lounge with open fire, dining
area and fitted kitchen and comes
equipped with TV, microwave oven,
washing machine and dryer.
Each cottage has a patio and barbecue
area, with sun lounger, table and
chairs, and residents also have use of
the large lawn in front of the cottages.
Residents are also welcome to use our
tennis course free of charge, subject to
availability. Enjoy some watersports at
the activity centre in the sheltered
creeks which provides a haven for
windsurfing and dinghy sailing, and the
spectacular rugged coastline is ideal
for sea kayaking adventures. |
