We are very conscious of food quality, and have our own eggs, which we use in baking our fresh scones. A real fixture in our Bed and Breakfast is our homemade jam. It is a real pleasure to sit and admire the Cork countryside and eat wholesome home made food, many of our guests make sure that once they get off the ferry in Rosslare that our Bed and Breakfast is their first stop over. There are spacious double, twin and triple rooms with spectacular views. Attractive guest T.V. lounge and conservatory for relaxation with great books to browse through. The Schooner B&B  
The Schooner B&B, Ballycotton, is in the centre of Ballycotton Village. The Schooner is a long established hostelry in the ownership of Brid and Mike O' Shea. Brid is a member of a local family with a long tradition of fishing and sea faring. Recently, the schooner has been given a major refurbishment, bringing it to a high standard of comfort, while retaining its village charm. There is also a separate games room ( ideal for the very occasional wet day ). To cater for the visitor, the Schooner has four guest bedrooms, again presented and furnished to the highest standards for comforts and relaxation. The visitor, and local is assured of a wary welcome from Bird and Mike, who will offer you the best in food and refreshment, in happy surroundings.
