Cork International Airport, is located off the Kinsale Road,
on the N27
and less then 10 minute drive from
Cork City centre and if
coming from Kinsale
side it is located off the R600. Cork International
Airport is Ireland's second largest airport after Dublin
Airport. The Airport in Cork has
a large number of Long Term spaces and Short Term
multi-storey parking spaces. Inside Cork Airport
Terminal on the ground floor are the Check In desks,
shop, coffee dock and Subway cafe along with the Airport
Information desk, Banking and Bureau de Change
Facilities, ATM, Postal Box, Internet Facilities and
Cork Airport Car Hire Desks. Cork Airport has Wifi
throughout the Airport. On the first floor is the Departures Lounge, Café and the Red Bar
and having passed through security you can avail of the
VIP Lounge, Lir Café, Shop and Sports Bar. Cork Airport
has facilities for passengers of Limited Mobility or
needing extra assistance.
Passengers can
enjoy shopping on the first floor at 'The Loop' with
lots to choose from and even take home a souvenir from
Cork. Also close by at Cork Airport are two main hotels such
as the Radisonn Blu Hotel and Cork International Airport
Hotel there
also are a number of
Cork Bed & Breakfast's near for Cork Airport for those
passengers taking early morning flights from Cork
Airport.
Cork Airport is easily accessible with a good road
network, and regular bus services from Bus Éireann or
City Link bus service and taxi's available outside the
Airport Terminal. There is a regular Bus Service to Cork
City Centre, from where you can get further connecting
buses serving all the major towns in Ireland at
Cork City
Bus Station Parnell Place or the train from
Cork Kent
Railway Station. Waterford, Tipperary and Kilkenny,
Kerry are also within easy reach via the Lee Tunnel

Passing through the villages of Belgooly,
Riverstick, on the R600 and Fivemilebridge (Junction
with R613) at crossroads forward and Cork
Airport is on the left at this roundabout on the
Kinsale Road. Directions
to Cork Airport From Cork Ferry Port in Ringaskiddy
Leaving Ringaskiddy and
Cork Ferry Port in Ringaskiddy, driving through
the Shanbally village and at the roundaout take the
N28 signposted for Cork, then branch left further on
to merge onto the South Ring Road (N25) and left and
then at Kinsale Roundabout take the first exit for
the N27 signposted for the Airport at the Airport
Road Roundabout take the third exit into the Airport
and straight up to the top of the road through the
two smaller roundabouts. |
