Greetings from Denver, CO USA! Great site, especially for new travellers. Would recommend that your "location" info include a little map showing exactly where the hotels and bed and breakfasts are. Would be more helpful to those of us travelling by car and planning the journey. Hope to visit your beautiful country in May!

I'm in Cork and Dublin for the month of March 2000 to try to find people that knew my father, Cornelius Joseph Dilworth, b. 1922 Ballycraheen, d. 1975. He left Eire in 1947 after graduating from University College to live in England. If you or anyone you know knew him, please contact me. I'm also looking for good, cheap, downtown accommodation.

Best regards,

Chris

I just looked into the guestbook - I did not know we could write a little. I was in Ireland for 11 days with three brothers - Cork was one of [if not the BEST] places we spent some time. Of course - it was too short of a time. Not just in Cork, But the whole trip in general. Ireland is really a BEAUTIFUL country.

My family originated in this town and area. I have hoped to get to visit you, but other things seem to interrupt. I have a local address that is now about 40 years old. My younger brother visited there in the late 1950's and was given this address as a contact for the family still in the Green Isle: Denis Leary Lack Eyeries, P.O. Castletown-Bere Haven Co. Cork, Ireland I would be interested in hearing from and surviving relatives. Tim Leary 304 S. E. 6th Circle Battle Ground, Washington 98604-8338

Very informative website! I had the opportunity to visit the Skibbereen area last summer with my family while on vacation there. Very pretty scenery! We were also looking for some genealogy leads on "Whooley" or "Hooley" families in the area. No results yet, but we'll keep trying. Thanks.

It was so wonderful visiting the land of my ancestors in November 1999. Such a beautiful land and such gracious people. My niece, my cousin and I visited Clonakility and met another first cousin. Visited the church and the school my father attended so many years ago. Moments never to be forgotten - a special place - a special time. Kathleen
