I think Youghal is a most amazing place. That is where my son is working and he needs a place to live. He would prefer to rent a room by the week or to share an apartment on a weekly basis as he is only going to be in Youghal for another two months. If you know someone who has a spare room and can cook one meal a day for him, would you please reply to this email. Someday I hope to visit Ireland and stay for one month.

What a beautiful website! Pauline

Tallahassee, Florida USA based "Booty Quakin' Soul Shakin'" progressive Blues pioneers Big Daddy & Red Hot Java return to Ireland for thirteen concert performances in fourteen days, June 1st through June 14th... in a whirlwind tour on this their fifth visit to the Emerald Isle. It's definitely become a pilgrimage. In fact Big Daddy & Red Hot Java has performed in every county of the Emerald Isle... north, south, east and west. Asked why they keep coming back Big Daddy explains, "It's the great love and appreciation we receive from our ministry of Blues. We connect with the Irish people in a very primal way. I believe the phrase in Irish is 'Ceol Dam Anam,' or 'Music for the Soul.' Our music moves you, and makes you move (dance). Playing tunes from our first CD The 24th Hour and soon to be released second CD Another Spankin' Mug, it's an earthy Blues gumbo peppered with Soul, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop and Rock The bottom line is the Irish people 'dig' our music and support us, and that's all we could ask for."

You can find out much more about Big Daddy & Red Hot Java including a standard press release, biographies, photos, MP3, booking information, Big Daddy's Blues-In-Schools, and much more just by visiting their web site 24/7/52 at www.bigdaddyandredhotjava.com . They will post new live MP3 recordings from a recent concert within the week.

Big Daddy & Red Hot Java's 2000 Ireland tour takes them on a 1000 plus mile journey from Belfast to Cork and back. Says bassist Michael 'Crash' Greif, "We just like to play... so when we tour we play every night. We're so revved up we've got to burn the energy somewhere... and what better place than on stage!" Please note and promote the Big Daddy & Red Hot Java tour stops in your area.

June 1 The Brewery / Monaghan June 2 Castlebar International Blues Festival / Castlebar June 3 Castlebar International Blues Festival / Castlebar June 4 Castlebar International Blues Festival / Castlebar June 5 The Moving Stairs / Boyle June 6 The Old Oak / Cork June 7 Connolly's of Leap / County Cork June 8 The Quays / Galway June 9 The Venue on Strand Hill / County Sligo June 10 The Limavady Blues Festival June 11 The Empire / Belfast June 12 The Town & Country / Magherfeldt June 13 Mother Hubbard's / Moy

Big Daddy & Red Hot Java truly needs your help getting the word out about their Ireland tour. ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you can do to help is greatly appreciated. Big Daddy is available to do phone interviews whenever it is convenient for you. Simply send us an email addressed as above with the correct phone number(s) including country code, contact person, and the local time you wish him to phone. Or you can phone direct at +1(850)657-5666. We want to make your job easier so please let us know how we can assist you.

We thank you in advance for your assistance. Your help is absolutely instrumental in Big Daddy & Red Hot Java's ministry of Blues. Say's guitarist "Cortez" Hightman, We feed off the energy of the audience. The more they get it going they we get it going. It's not uncommon to look up after one of our shows and see the stars!" Adds drummer J. "General" Mills, "It's frenetic, kinetic and prophetic, and it's ALL good!"

Please spread the word about the tour, and visit Big Daddy & Red Hot Java when they perform in your area, or you can make the trek to the concert nearest you. You definitely WON'T be disappointed. Thanking you in advance. All the best!

A truely exciting site! WOW!!! However on the Ballygarvan page it is not mentioned that the Ballygarvan G.A.A club won its first Cork County Championship, in 1999!! This historic victory was made possible due to the brilliance of the MINOR 'A' FOOTBALLERS of the club. The trophy was won on the 5/12/99 in Ovens G.A.A grounds against the highly fancied outfit 'SAM MAGUIRES'. PLEASE BE SURE TO ADD THIS TO THE SITE AS IT MEANS A LOT TO THE PEOPLE OF BALLYGARVAN!!! THANKING YOU, ANNONOYMOUS FOOTBALLER OF THE GREAT COUNTY WINNING TEAM OF 99! May there be more victories to come!

Forgive me for the lengthy comment here in the guestbook, but I couldn't find any link to send you an email on this website!

I am looking for 5 copies of numerous guide books and brochures my Mother picked up when she traveled to Ireland in 1987. My Mom passed away recently and we are just all heartbroken over the loss of her. I think we are trying to continually make watever connections to her that we can. We have her Ireland road map with handwritten notations on the route they took and all the stops they made. My Father, brothers, and I, and our spouses and kids, are planning a fantastic trip in 3 or 4 years to retrace the path my Mom and her sister took on their trip. I am trying to compile a notebook for each family (and thus need 5 copies of everything) that contains the following items: Ashford Castle brochure Ballinspittle (shrine) brochure Bantry House brochure Blarney Castle brochure Bunratty Castle brochure Cahir Castle brochure The Clare Guide The Cork Guide Dunguaire Castle Historic Houses, Castles & Gardens book Ireland's Heritage (Irish Tourist Board) The Kerry Guide Kilkenny Castle The Kilkenny Guide Knappogue Castle The Limerick Guide The Longford Guide Molly Gap Ladies View info New Grange Tomb info The Roscommon Guide The Tipperary Guide The Waterford Guide Irish Family Homes and Map - Arms and Mediaeval Locations (Bartholomew) Ireland South 1:250,000 Series Ordnance Survey Holiday Map Four Holiday Guide Maps of Ireland

Could you direct to a source or sources who can provide me with the above items? It would be nice to find some places which sell numerous items on the list so that I don't have to write to each and every county tourism office along her route. Working on this project cheers me! I hope to be successful, at least in part.

Thanks so much in advance for any help, advice, suggestions you can offer!
