I picked up an old print of a boat in a bay setting and it was Bantry Bay. I was curious as to where it was and was very suprised to find it in Cork. My family originated in Cork and I was born in Northern Bay, Newfoundland and my Grandfather use to sing Skibbereen. I guess I should get a family history and visit Cork someday.

I found this site because someone was looking to find the address of Cork Distilleries Company. When in Dublin, we "discovered" Cork Dry Gin which is as good, of not better than Gordon's gin. Our half bottle did not last long! Where can I buy CDC Cork Dry Gin in England?
Guiness drunk in Dublin is wonderful too!

We just came back from Kinsale after a stay at The White Lady Hotel. I can't say enough about
the service and friendliness from everyone at the hotel. We hated to leave such a beautiful town.
Kinsale is probably the nicest town in southern Ireland,

This site is very poor. I was looking up ten pin bowling and nothing came up, even though there are at least 2 venues in Cork.

I am looking for a store that sells Odonoghue Pottery Rye. I received a piece from my sister several years ago, and haven't been able to locate any since.
The piece I have is a bank. On the bottom it has a label that says Odonoghue Pottery Rye - Made in England.
Thanks.
Jan

Thank you for having a site like this on the web. I've spent many happy times in West Cork. Love the place. Perhaps I'm biased.I grew up in East Cork ,although two of my four grandparents were from West Cork. I hope it never loses that special feeling of warmth and friendliness. Wonderful, wonderful place, and wonderful wonderful perople. I miss it.

Hi there! I am a soon to be college graduate who will be moving to Ireland in June 2001!
I am trying to find housing in Cork. Specifically, a one bedroom furnished flat. Where do I look for this? I know there is a website called www.daft.ie but the housing for Cork will not be up and running for 2 weeks! Is there any other resources you would recommend?
Also, I am interested in jobs in Cork or surrounding areas. If you have any information or suggestions for me please email me! Thank you for your time! All the best!
Best regards,
Lori Ann Whalen

I was in cork 4 weeks ago, and had a very nice time.
I loved the city and itīs friendlly people. I visit so many places in Ireland, but the spirit of Cork was the one that impressed me the most. Really warm and nice people.
I had a great time at Reardonīs ( Washington St )a wonderfull place, with great music.
I'm trying to find some people that I met there.
A group of friends, with whom , me and my friend dance and talk togheter. One is called Ethan and is a Farmer in Cork, the other one is a theacher and lives in Blarney, and there is another one that now lives in Hungary.
I would like to keep in touch with them. If you have any information on how to contact them , please send it to my e-mail.
