My Mother sent the parish priest a letter and picture from
their trip to the Abbey with a query regarding any ghost
stories re the Abbey - the photo showed an image on the wall
on the side of the graveyard - we have not heard back - can
you please respond or would anyone comment on their experience
if any with ghost stories re the Abbey

My great-grandmother, Minnie Healy Phillips (died 1974)was
born in the area. She emmigrated to USA in 1918. Had 5
sisters: Mrs. Christina Healy Porter (died in early '90s) or
Cork, Mrs. Julia Wolfson of Trenton, NY; Mrs. Nova Healy
Wilson and Mrs. Elizabeth Healy Bonacci both of White Plains,
NY. I'm trying to find the family members who still live in
County Cork. I'm coming to Ireland in July 2001 and want to

We visited Kinsale last summer - spent a week in a couple
of different B&Bs (Villa Serena, I think was one). LOVED
the Charles Fort - what a peaceful place. Kinsale folks are
wonderful! The town was charming. Sunday Mass at church was
