I am trying to trace my Irish cousins. My
g/g/g/g/grandfather was named Daniel Shea and he was born
around 1820/24. Daniel was a baker by trade and he was married
to Elizabeth. They moved to Wales in 1845/50 and already had
four children when they
arrived.Johnny/Mary/Agnes/Elizabeth.The records show
Clonakilty and Court Macsherry as possible places of origin
but not definatly sure. Can any one shed any light on this
search.

Does anyone know where LUCY WALSH is? She used to live in
Cork and I met her in Denmark in 1997, when we took part in
the International Module at the Copenhagen's teacher training
college. I saw her again after she had graduated from St.
Patrick's College in Dublin in the summer of 1998. She had
found a job as a teacher in Dublin. I'd love to know how she
is.

My 2G Grandfather, Jeremiah Desmond's gravestone reads that
he was born in "Drenoughl", Co. Cork about 1797. There's no
such place according to several researchers, but could it be a
bad phonetic spelling of 'Derrynanool' townland in
Marshalstown Parish? He was the son of Thomas Desmond and
Susan Crawford. Thanks for any information about that location
