NICE SITE! My children and I visited the Glengarriff area
Aug.2002. I wonder if anyone knows the name of the little
restuarant outside of the town? It has a small area to pull
over and take fabulous photos. It also had a carved monument

My name is Edward Barry. My father, Daniel J. Barry, was
born in Hilltown, County Cork on Jan. 24, 1897. His father was
David Barry, a retired naval pensioner. David was married to
Julia Denny. My father's birth was registered in Carrigaline.
I am researching my family history. I would aooreciate any
information re: Hilltown. I have been unable to find any
written refernce to Hilltown. When I was in Ireland in
Sept./2002 I was told that there was a small book published by
a local historian that listed all the residents of Hilltown. I
have been unable to acquire a copy of this book. I am also
trying to get the address or e-mai; listing for the Revd.
Daniel Nuzum, Templebredy, Crosshaven and/or the Revd. S.D.
Armstrong, The Rectory, Carrigaline, Co. Cork. I would greatly
appreciate any advice or relevant information in this matter.

Today I received a beautiful gift, made in Ireland, a
bracelet of conn mara marble.I have an Irish heritage,
however, have not been able to trace to what areas. Really
doesn't matter, only that I have Irish in my blood, and am
proud to have the bracelet to remind me. Someday, I hope to

i'm not a big chocolate fan, but at the blarney castle gift
shop they had the best bars of milk chocolate...I'd like to
