Can anyone help please. I have a Chestnut Irish horse
called , Old Park Bassom , out of Brown Bess and
BassomPierre[TB]. He was bred by Philip Murray of Old Park,
Bandon Co.Cork . in the year of 1983 [17-4-83]. The wife and i
would have loved to see where Bassom was bred but we might
never make it , so is there some kind person or persons who
could possibly send any pictures of " OLD PARK " , and make
two people very happy. Bassom has been and is still a good
Showjumper . Any return through my email AD will be gratefully
received . Many thanks to this site to have the chance to post
this plea. Bob and Gill

Take it from me -- if anyone is planning a relaxed vacation
to Munster, be sure to spend a few days in Kinsale. The Scilly
House, up on the hill is excellent. Run by a great couple!
Down the road is The Spaniard. A rock'n pub w/ JAZZ. The town
of Kinsale is brilliant. The Blue House is great for food and
gargle. The history of the area should be explored. Slan!

I studied abroad at University College Cork in 1998, so of
course, I love this site with all the great information about
Cork!!! I am graduating from college in Missouri in May 2000,
and I am VERY interested in coming back to work in Cork for
some time while I take a year off from school before going to
medical school in Aug 2001. I am really interested in working
in health care in the Cork/Kerry area, rather than simply
waitressing, or work with the handicapped/ special needs
people. Can you send me ANY information about hospitals,
community health clinics or health organizations that I might
be able to contact for information? Even names of the
hospitals in Cork would be very appreciated. I am dedicated to
returning to Ireland to work before medical school and working
in the Irish health care system would be ideal. My family
origins hail from Cork (originally the Coughlan's) so I know
I'm destined to return and be a Cork girl again! Also, do you
have any helpful suggestions or web sites for young people
thinking of moving to Ireland for a short time, regarding
accomodations, visas, wages, etc?
Thanks so much! If anything can be sent by mail, my home
address is below!
Slan!
