Kelly Wright is my name and my fondest dream is to visit Ireland. I have been doing a lot of research and would appreciate any information available. Being Irish, perhaps my luck will prevail and I will be smiling, soon, in Cork.

I found your site to be quite informative. As an Irish woman who was adopted to an American family after the death of my parents in Belfast in early 1961,I am giving considerable thought to returning to Ireland -- at the very least a vacation home. Your website has been very informative. Thank you. Kaitlyn McClure

Hello Cork! I miss you! I lived two month in Midleton last year and spent a lot of time in Cork. During my stay I fell in love with Ireland, now I spend a lot of time in our local irish pub listening to live irish music. I will come back and visit you once.

Could anyone put me in contact with someone who can get me any information on how I may ontain a copy of the wonderful photo of St. Colman's Cathedral that appears on your COBH "website" page; part of "Cork Guide"? Not especially that particular photo, but at least one similar? The "agents" for "Ireland of the Welcomes" magazine have tried to contact Kevin Dwyer (famed photographer) of Glanmire, for me, TO NO AVAIL! Thanks much, Conlin R. Hello, I rescently was advised that I may be traveling to the Village of Macroom, County Cork. My genealogy, I believe, originated in County Cork. However, I am not certain as to the specific village. The surname is Bradley (O'Bradley). Any help you can give would be appreciated. Hope to meet some wonderful people there. I am from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (Suburb of Philladelphia).

I am to the understanding that Cork is where my family emmigrated to America from. If you know of any way I can find out more about this name I would appreciate it much. Thanks.

I studied philosophy and Italian at UCC from 1956 to 1959. Three wonderful years. I loved living in Cork, and found so many friends there. I enjoyed studying and the social life was terrific. I was back in Cork for a couple of days in 1990 and the city was bright and lively, more crowded than it was in the 1950s. But still, walking down Magazine Road I felt that if I blinked I might find myself back in those days when I walked that way into down in my old yellow duffel coat. My name was Christine Maple then. Does anyone remember me?

My husband is a fanatical Norwich City Fan and desires to watch Cork vs St Patrick's Athletic on Sunday 12th September. Could you please e-mail the ticket prices to us. Many thanks We look forward to visiting your beautiful city! Donna

Visiting your site brought back many pleasant memories. I walked your city in the spring of 1992. In fact I walked your entire country. I was covered by your newspaper in March of that year. I have been on a twenty year walk around the world. To this point I have walked 53 countries.

I waited almost a lifetime to visit the land of my ancestors. It was worth every year I waited. My site by the way is www.hawkwalk.com
