My husband and I are planning a weekend trip to Cork before
heading to London. We are from the U.S. and would appreciate
any information at all, as this is the first time we have been
out of the U.S. We are especially interested in bed &
breakfasts, pubs, and driving the countryside. Thank you.

I like this site, and I recommend it to Cork emigrants
abroad who like to keep in touch with local events. It is of
particular value to people who are planning a trip home, as
they can plan their itinerary.
One notable absence from the site is a listing of religious
services for the different denominations. A group who paid a
visit here from Chicago recently pointed this out to me. Why
not add this feature to your site?

I'm a Corkonian traveling around the world and it's cool
being able to check in on stuff happening at home. Don't
forget to include the Temple of Sound (old Foundry or Tropics)
Nightclub on your list.

I´m a member in an (unprofessional)mixed choir in Sweden
who is supposed to go to Ireland next summer. We are very
interested in getting in contact with another choir from Cork
or nearby. If we can make such contact we hope we can have the
upportunity to meet and sing together. We sing a lot of
different song for example; ABBA, Beatles, Swedish folksongs.
Please, contact us if you are a member in a choir or if you
now someone who could be interested in meeting a Swedish
choir.//Eva

I have been doing genealogy on the O'Sullivan family
starting with Denis O'Sullivan who left Cork with his wife and
two children in mid 1800's. Denis O'Sullivan was born in 1802
in Cork and had a brother named Richard. I have a lot of
information about this family if anybody is interested. Don
