very good site, we are going to Cobh today! But I think you should say more about the restaurants and hotels i.e. what sort of food they sell, gradings etc otherwise very informative.

I really enjoyed this site however, I'm disappointed with a lack of information on walks in in the area. Cork has some beautiful spots and I'm sure there are wonderful trails from which to view them. I just wish I knew where they were...

From Jacko, LIVERPOOL

Stayed in Cork/Cobh last year, loved it. Everyone I met seemed to have relatives from my native Liverpool when I was there, it made me feel so at home. Can't wait to be back in September.

I cannot wait until I can visit Cork ... hopefully next year. It's been a dream of mine for years, and your web site has me even more excited about coming there. Cork will certainly be at the top of my list of places to visit in Ireland, as my family's roots are there (McSherry, McCarthy, Callahan, Loftus).

Great site!

I had the pleasure of traveling through parts of southern Ireland in the late 1980's and am ready to recomend a visit there to anyone that will listen. I was also fortunate enough to visit Cork and Blarney. This is the first time I have had a chance to say "Thanks for the wonderful memories". I only wish that I could return for another visit. -A traveler from Texas-

I stayed with Cecilia Kiely at her B&B "Claragh" in Blarney in 1987 and have been corresponding ever since. I returned to stay with her in '95 and spent quite a bit of time in Cork city itself, had lunch at Crawford's. Also went to Bere Island. You have a wonderful country. forty shades of green is so true!

Hope to visit Cork, Ireland in 2000 or 2001. More specifically Ballincollig. Please tell me which part of Cork (North,South, East or West) Ballincollig is situated and whether I can catch a coah from Cork airport. It'll be my very first time on Irish soil.
