Comments: I am writing a book about an adventurous fllight in a small aircraft. The story describes certain preparations in Cork Ireland, the originating point of the fllight over the North Atlantic Ocean.
I have never been to Ireland and I would like my descriptions to be as authentic as possible.

Perhaps you can send an e-mail address for research on Irish traditions (for example, what is the history and significance of the "Kangol Cap" and the attached four leaf clover pin?)

I would also like to know where I might obtain aerial photos of Cork, the Bantry area and the lighthouse known as "The Bull."

Had your comment box been smaller, I would not have imposed so heavily!

Comments: We visited Ireland and Scotland recently and County Cork (especially W. Cork) was our absolute favorite. We intend to return soon and would like to rent a house, perhaps in the Skibbereen area, and do some day trips. It’s within the realm of possibilities that we might buy a small house there in the next 5-10 years. Any information about house rentals (short-term) would be appreciated. Thanks.
