Hello again from the Arizona desert! Your Christmas decorations look great, and my 3 year-old grand daughter loves the skating Santa - especially when he falls down!! I came from near Youghal and enjoy your pictures from there. Keep up the great work. Merry Christmas to all. Muiris Foley. Tucson, Arizona

I am of Irish decent , and absolutly love the fact that your country is available to be viewed by the Internet. My boyfriend; (loking like my future husband, hopefully); was employed by a company which allowed him to live in Kinsale and County Cork for seven years...He would love to take me back there with him and my grandmother would be in her glory..her full heritiage is of Irishdecent. I look forward to seeing your beautiful world over the ocean. I live in Pleasanton, California and have not had the opportunity to travel much but the little traveling I have done was great. Till I see you in person........Merry Christmas... DeeAnn Foster

Hi! I am just wondering if there is telephone dir- ectory available "on line" for the greater Cork area/vicinity. we are wanting to come to Ireland to visit for the first time within the next couple of months & wonder if there are any people with the last name "Cassidy" in this vicinity. I am not sure if my ancestors came from Cork or not. My DAD told me he thought that is where we were from but I have no direct evidence. Thank you! , C

May 1997 was my first and hopefully not my last trip to Ireland. I spend 3 awesome weeks in country and loved everyday of it. I had a great opportunity to work at EMC right outside of Cork city and met fun and energetic poeple. In fact I still stay in touch with them. Travel to Ireland and see the glorious countryside. I recommend driving with a tour book or ask one of the locals to go for the ride. I am sure they wont mind showing you around. Have fun and if you go.... can you put me in your luggage.

I've never been to Ireland. My Aunt Mary lived with us until i was 4 years old when she died. I'm 46 i have very vivid image's of the Ireland of her youth in my mind. She was , a Mc Ilvaine, from Cork. , and a very strong woman. I hope that the information that i found here will help me find more of our family. One day I hope to see the places she told me about.

I was born in cork city. I lived on the north mall. I'm currently living in Perth, Australia. For the first time in ten years, since my family moved to Perth, my family and I went back to Cork for a holiday. And we loved it. I had forgotten how friendly and beautiful the city was. It is unbelievable how the city has grown economically and physically in a short amount of time. I'll be back for Christmas in 1999. You can bet on that. Hi to the Clifford, Hannon, Bresnan families. And my grandparents the Twomey's, and Lynch's. Seeyaz next year. Gareth Twomey
