Castle Farm is
a working dairy farm set in 75 acres of the most beautiful
countryside in the south of Ireland. While you are staying here you
can view the farm and its daily activities, milking etc. The house
overlooks Ballycotton Bay and the large garden is a great play area
for children. There is a sandy beach only a 5 minute walk away.
Castle Farm is located on the coast road between Garryvoe and
Ballymacoda. Travelling from Youghal on the N25 follow the sign
posts for Ballymacoda Village. From there follow the signs for
Castle Farm.

Tour the many
fascinating sites in the historic town of Youghal. You can enjoy a
walking tour and be taken back to the time of Walter Raleigh. In
nearby Midleton you
can enjoy a tour of the Old
Midleton Distillery and taste the world famous Irish
Whiskey. In the town of Cobh you can revisit the grandeur of the
Titanic at The
Queenstown Story, this excellent centre recreates Cobh’s
seafaring history of Famine Ships, Liners and Maritime life.
There are
varied facilities locally for families, Amusements in Youghal and
Fota, Fota Wildlife Park and
Arboretum, Trabolgan Holiday Village and your choice of sandy
beaches.
Bird Watching: Take the East
Cork trail and visit the 19 bird-watching sites, some of
international fame
Golf: For the
golfer we can offer a range of six golf courses within a short drive
of each other.
