Ballinspittle County Cork is situated 10 km west of Kinsale on R600. A little village with a well know Grotto.
As you enter the village of Ballinspittle you will pass the Grotto which had thousands of people visiting it in the 1980's. Many people claimed to have seen the statue moving which resulted in bus loads of people visiting the Grotto to pray. So stop off and visit the Grotto and reflect at this holy place.
Each year in July they hold the Ballinspittle Festival a fun day out in West Cork for the family with novelty races, fancy dress, sports events and live music it proves very popular each year.

Afterwards take a walk in the Ballinspittle/Garrettstown Woods and enjoy the way marked trail.
