The Atlantic Coastal path from Ballycotton to Ballytrasna and on to Ballyandreen is part of the East Cork way. It is know as The Ballycotton Cliff Walk This beautiful cliff walk is rich in wildlife, which goes through farmland, then across a small tiny beach on the way its is 13 kms and takes 5 hours.
The scenery is spectacular, on one side you have farmland, pasture and meadows and the other you have stunning view of Ballycotton lighthouse and the Wild Atlantic Coast. The single pathway is quiet narrow in places, with many styles and steps along its route, so it is not suitable for bikes or pushchairs. Wear good walking shoes or boots as it can be slippy in some areas after wet weather.
