The English Market Cork has entrances on Princes Street, Patrick Street, the Grand Parade, New Market Lane and Mutton Lane. It is a covered market supplying mainly food produce, local and imported to the people of Cork, Ireland and many business through its time, such as fish, fruit, meat and vegetables.

The Market has several entrance options such as the Grand Parade side, or from Princes Steet side, New Market Lane or Mutton Lane.

Browse the vintage clothes stalls with funky Tee Shirts. For the European flavour there are delicious olives, spice stalls and some French Soaps and Lavender.

Foods from all over the world as well as traditional Cork foods can be purchased in the English Market located in the heart of Cork City Centre. Produce available in the English Market include Meat, fish, breads, organic fruit & vegetables, spices, clothes & gift ideas, you'll also find eggs, speciality cheeses, olives, crubeens (pigs' feet), and the Cork favourite Tripe & Drisheen available in the English Market just to list a few. The origins of the market can be traced back to James 1st in 1610, but the present building dates from 1786. In 1980 it was destroyed by fire and was refurbished by Cork Corporation to an award-winning design by the Cork city architect T. F. MacNamara.
